The STIHL MS 181 C-BE gas-driven chainsaw is a powerful tool for grounds maintenance and features comfortable operation. The advantages of the MS 181 C-BE are particularly appreciated during demanding tasks in domestic settings and by skilled trades. The version with a bar length of 35 cm is also suitable for felling smaller trees.

The STIHL 2-MIX engine offers high cutting performance with economical fuel consumption. During starting, the strength-saving STIHL ErgoStart function halves the effort required compared to conventional STIHL starting systems. You can use the manual fuel pump to pump gas into the carburettor after a long period of non-operation, making it even easier to start. During use, single-lever operation means you can work with less effort, while the practical metal claw stop lets you easily and precisely guide the gas-powered chainsaw as you cut.

The STIHL MS 181 C-BE is also equipped with STIHL Quick Chain Tensioning, which you can use to re-tension the saw chain easily and safely without tools. Pre-separation routing ensures the chainsaw operates at high efficiency and for a very long time without needing to clean the filter. It does this by removing coarse particles en route to the air filter.

To protect your muscles and joints while still delivering high performance, the STIHL anti-vibration system reduces engine and work tool vibrations.
